Testing of heat treatment and coating systems according to CQI and AMS
We offer SAT and TUS testing in accordance with CQI and AMS to ensure precise control of your heat treatment and coating processes. Ensure the quality of your end product with our full-service offer.
Do you need to ensure the hardness or toughness of metals through targeted heat treatment and precisely control your process conditions? With our full-service offer at your site, you are on the safe side and meet the audit requirements of your industry. We cover the metrological requirements for the aerospace industry according to AMS as well as the requirements for automotive suppliers according to CQI.
We offer you comprehensive calibration and testing for heat treatment and coating systems in accordance with the CQI 9, CQI 11 and CQI 12 standards as well as AMS 2750. We carry out the accredited calibration of your indicators and thermocouples on your premises. We also offer you a Temperature Uniformity Test (TUS) and a System Accuracy Test (SAT).
What is a System Accuracy Test (SAT)?
The System Accuracy Test (SAT) is used to compare the measured values of instruments and sensors used on site with the values of a calibrated reference. The aim of this test is to check the accuracy of the measuring system. The SAT test is carried out to ensure the precision of the oven control system and the recording system in all control ranges.
What is a Temperature Uniformity Survey (TUS)?
The Temperature Uniformity Survey (TUS) ensures that the temperature distribution in your ovens meets the specifications and provides reproducible results. The TUS test can be carried out in both empty and loaded states, depending on your specific requirements. A TUS test in the loaded state is useful if the load condition has a strong influence on the temperature distribution and thus significantly changes the heat distribution, or if particularly critical components are involved.
