Testo Industrial Services continues to create new jobs and set innovative standards in the field of calibration. The expansion of the Calibration Factory at Testo Industrial Services marks a significant step in the company’s ongoing growth and successful development.
In October 2021, Testo Industrial Services opened another calibration site in Kirchzarten. Located in the “Fischerrain” industrial park, the facility spans more than 4,200 square meters and created around 200 new jobs.
In 2025, the site will be expanded by approximately 3,800 square meters. This will create 150 additional jobs and provide ample space for efficient process alignment and the enhancement of quality standards — a clear commitment to the location in the Dreisamtal region.
An agile approach combined with the proactive mindset of the Testo team has been key to the success of the Testo Group, as stated by Prof. Burkart Knospe, CEO of the Testo Group, during the ground-breaking ceremony in 2019. He remains optimistic about the continued development of Testo Industrial Services during this expansion.
The experience gained over the past years is being used to optimize processes in the new building and transfer them into a state-of-the-art industrial environment. The use of innovative calibration equipment not only increases precision but also enables the expansion of calibration services.
The new Calibration Factory offers ample space for multiple calibration laboratories, efficient order processing, and spacious logistics areas. The automated high-bay warehouse can manage more than 7,000 transport containers with test equipment. Automated conveyor systems optimize material flow and ensure that employees always have access to the correct measuring instruments. The expertise of experienced staff, combined with cutting-edge equipment and lean-oriented production methods, results in a blend of quality and efficiency.
Sustainability also played a central role in planning the expansion: careful resource management, the use of renewable energy, and a sustainable mobility concept are key focuses.
These measures not only promote regional economic development but also strengthen the company’s competitiveness in the global market and contribute significantly to its sustainable and future-oriented growth.
