Calibration Factory - Kirchzarten
Testo has created 200 new jobs and set new standards in the field of calibration. For Testo Industrial Services, the construction of the Calibration Factory is so far the largest investment in the future and a consequence of the continued growth.
In October 2021, Testo Industrial Services opened another calibration site in Kirchzarten. Around 200 new jobs were created on more than 4,200 square meters of floor space in the "Fischerrain" industrial park.
Raimund Föhrenbacher, Managing Director of Testo Industrial Services GmbH, said at the opening ceremony in October: "The Calibration Factory is the highest investment Testo Industrial Services has made in its history and the foundation stone for further growth. This is how established quality meets efficiency."
An agile approach paired with the Testorians' mentality of acting are the key to the Testo Group's success, explained Prof. Burkart Knospe, CEO of the Testo Group, and congratulated: "I wish Testo Industrial Services the efficiency, effectiveness and, of course, continued successful growth desired by the management with the move into the Calibration Factory."
The Calibration Factory offers enough space for several calibration laboratories, a large order processing department as well as the logistics areas. The automated warehouse can manage more than 7,000 boxes for test equipment. The precision of experienced employees and state-of-the-art equipment are combined with a lean-oriented production approach - quality meets efficiency.
Without good partners it's all nothing
For our industrial flooring we have an experienced partner on hand: ALFO-POX carries out flooring work and floor coating in the Calibration Factory.
We have an innovative and competent partner at hand with Avocos GmbH. They take over important MSR building automation work.
The family business from Elzach takes on additional carpentry work, as well as the installation of doors and frames. Your individually designed furnishing ideas will also be reflected in our new building.
The metal construction, as well as the locksmith work, we have given into the hands of Burger Metallbau. The family business stands for craftsmanship tradition and also manufactures our stairs and railings individually.
We have relied on the expertise of Carré Planungsgesellschaft since the planning phase. Since the start of our new project, the team led by general planner Klaus Wehrle has been on hand to advise us. From the first drawing to the handover of the keys, we work closely with the Carré team.
For tile and natural stone work we cooperate with Cybulla GmbH. Their years of experience ensure a high quality standard, which we would like to include for our new project.
The company, located in Breisach am Rhein, takes care of all our electrical installation work. In addition, they are responsible for electrical power installations, telecommunications and information technology installations. They are true specialists in their field and ensure a smooth installation.
Whether heating, cooling, humidifying or dehumidifying - Engie Deutschland GmbH installed an air handling unit (AHU) for our Calibration Factory.
The company, which operates throughout Germany and is located in Freiburg, takes care of our technical building equipment as a specialist planner.
We are supplied with scaffolding by the company Feser Gipsergeschäft Gerüstbau e.K.. They enable us and our partners to work smoothly from the inside as well as from the outside.
We have handed over screed work to the experienced hands from Hardt. Further core competencies for the team around managing director Volker Weißer include the design of floors of all kinds.
We have placed facade and metal construction work in the competent hands of Haller Industriebau GmbH. The company from Villingen-Schwenningen convinces with flexibility and a high standard.
Not only painting works, but also plastering and stucco works are handed over to Ignaz Haas and his team. Their expert advice and high quality standards make him a valuable partner for us.
As a market leader, we entrust Kemmlit-Bauelemente GmbH with the finishing of our sanitary facilities. They provide us with individually designed partition walls.
Safety is our top priority. As recognized experts in industrial fire protection, the company provides us with a sophisticated extinguishing system. Beyond the new building, we thus have a competent partner at our side.
We also have an experienced partner for our elevator systems: Kone GmbH, headquartered in Hanover, Germany, previously supplied only our head office and now also our new building with elevators.
Another very important task is performed for us by Lösch GmbH & Co. KG for us. In close cooperation they create a high quality and reliable lightning protection system for our Calibration Factory.
The family business, founded in 1932, not only has experience in steel and metal construction, but also supports us with glazing work at our Calibration Factory.
To meet our high demands, we rely on the competence and experience of Moser GmbH & Co. KG. A partner who is not only very familiar with reinforced concrete, but has also taken over our complete masonry work.
The master craftsman's business from Waldkirch near Freiburg carries out flooring work with its team. Individually designed floors are professionally laid and finished to a high standard of quality throughout new buildings.
Roofing and sheet metal work was taken over by a real Black Forest company. The supra-regionally operating company presents its core competencies: Roof and facade systems on our major construction site.
Our large outdoor facilities are taken care of by the company Steinhart GmbH. Their innovative concepts and careful planning will represent our green spaces in the long term - even on the roof.
The company Walter-Lutema GmbH from Schallstadt takes over important sanitary, as well as heating and air conditioning installations at our new building.
With the company Walther Keune-Bau GmbH & Co. KG since the beginning of our new construction. They do important earthwork and drainage channel work for us.
For all our carpentry work, we relied on the experience of Zimmerei Ganter GmbH. The company, which comes from Hinterzarten, is active nationwide and creates woodwork individually to customer specifications.
The company Zitzelsberger Gebäudereinigung GmbH from Emmendingen has taken over an important step for the commissioning of the building by the final construction cleaning.
