Proficiency test for the dimensional measurement variable: parallel end gauges

A Proficiency test is conducted for calibrations of steel end measures.

Steel end gauges of tolerance class 0 in the range from 0.5 mm to 100 mm are sent as calibration objects. The calibration objects must be calibrated in accordance with VDI/VDE/DGQ 2618 3.1:2004-01.

The assigned reference values are determined using the weighted average of all participant results from the accredited calibration laboratories. The results are evaluated using the En value for the assigned value.

Planned start: May 2025

The proficiency test is conducted in a ring format, with calibration being performed in the pilot laboratory at least before and after the participants' calibrations. Each participating laboratory has one calendar week to perform the calibration and is responsible for the insured forwarding of the calibration items.
